Steep - steeper – Karrinne

The Hafelekarrinne is one of the steepest ski runs in Europe. With a gradient of 70% this run is reserved for real experts. On powder snow days some locals are more likely to be found at Nordkette than in their office. The run for extreme adrenalin.

For proficient and experienced skiers and snowboarders only! You are in high mountain territory. Suitable equipment is essential. Find out about the avalanche situation in the skiing region before heading off-piste.

Kids-Arena at the Seegrube

Magic carpet, snow hill and practice slopes including child care service make the Nordkette a unique experience for children and families.

Student day - wednesday

"11 from 11": from 11 a.m. the ski ticket costs only € 11.- by presenting a valid student ID. Parking in the city or congress garage included!

Bask in the sun and relax

You can hire yourself a deckchair and a blanket from the Seegrube sportrental centre and catch some rays in the peaceful, idyllic scenery high above Innsbruck.

Avalanche blasting

To ensure absolute safety for visitors, the Avalanche Co mmission of the city of Innsbruck and Innsbrucker Nordkettenbahnen checks the avalanche situation every day in the skiing region. Accumulations of fresh snow can lead to delays in the ski service.
