Flying Fox
Our new higlight beside the Seegrube Station! Two steel cables are stretched between the so called “Kasermandl” a little above the Seegrube Station and the terrace of the Seegrube restaurant. Courageous guests are secured with a climbing harness and a double locking device. Afterwards he is ready to glide along the 100-meter long steel cable. The altitude is 11 meters. The passenger floats at 20 meters above the ground, but it feels like floating at approx. 1400 meters over the city of Innsbruck. Pure adrenaline and extreme safety standards. The passenger is secured twice during the whole distance.
There are 2 bearing cables and a double brake system. The Austrian TÜV controlled all facilities and conformed its safety.
The Flying Foy operates every Sunday 1p.m. to 4 p.m. in good weather for free entrance!
