At the feet of the city

Innsbruck view

Urban life and wild nature - just a few minutes apart. The Nordkette makes this unique experience possible. It is not only a panoramic mountain, hiking paradise and ski resort, but also the mountain in the city. One moment you are standing in the middle of the pedestrian zone, right in front of the world-famous Golden Roof, and a few minutes later you are already on the almost 2,300 meter high Hafelekar and enjoying a unique 360° view. On one side is the urban, modern Alpine capital of Innsbruck, on the other the untouched nature of the Karwendel Nature Park.

The city from above

Innsbruck is the capital of the Alps - young, modern, urban and surrounded by impressive mountain scenery. If you want to see the city from above, you don't have to go on a strenuous hike or even conquer a summit.

Innsbruck's Nordkettenbahnen cable cars take you directly from the old town to the Hafelekar in just a few minutes.

From here, you can reach the "Innsbruckblick" viewing platform in a short time on foot via a sure-footed path, which, as the name suggests, offers the best view of Innsbruck. Views of the Tyrolean capital are guaranteed to leave lasting impressions.
